We visit the Weekend Night Market in Hanoi, Vietnam. After brief window shopping, we eat four rounds of Vietnamese food! We begin with Banh Troi Tau, a dessert made of rice balls with peanut and ginger soup. Who said you can’t have dessert first? Round Two is Pho Ga (Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup) topped off with garlic and scallions. Then we try Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwich) stuffed with skewered meat. Different vendors have their own recipe. The one we have is a simple variation. We finish the day with a second round of dessert: Kem Xoi (Sticky Rice Ice Cream). PS: You’ll see Obama’s Restaurant in this video.
